Silk
Silk is a natural fabric made to be cool in the summer, and warm in the winter. Silk is one of the most popular fabrics used in island inspired clothing. Due to its super soft hand and luxurious drape, silk always looks stylish and sophisticated.

Silk can have several different finishes or textures, such as the following:
Silk twill has a very clean and elegant look, and feels extremely soft to the touch.
Silk Jacquard can have almost any type of design woven into the fabric.

By no means do all silks have to be dry-cleaned! Silk can be washed in cold water, and tumble-dried on a cool setting. Although some silk garments may benefit more from dry cleaning. You will want to read the specific garment care instructions before laundering.

Linen
Linen is a natural fabric that has its own unique drape. Linen has been used in many island inspired clothing lines because of its casual appearance. Most linen can be washed in cold water, and tumbled dry on the cold setting. For a more formal look, you can press your linen to give it a crisp appearance.

Tencel
Tencel is a natural fabric made from the natural cellulose found in trees. Tencel is a very strong fabric that is very soft and drapes extremely well. It is a fabric that flows and moves with your body. Tencel absorbs color dyes well, and therefore, results in dramatically dark or bright colors. Tencel garments are mostly washable, but they may be dry cleaned if you prefer.

Cotton Lawn
Cotton Lawn is one of the world's finest cottons. Sometimes it is referred to as “Egyptian Cotton.” This fabric is incredibly soft, smooth, and lightweight. Cotton Lawn was specifically invented for high temperatures and humidity. Due to the long fibers in this fabric it has a certain degree of crease resistance, and is also very resilient and colorfast. Cotton Lawn can be machine washed in cold water and tumble dried on a cool setting.

Remember, all of your garments will last longer without the use of hot water, bleach, and machine drying!
